Arrived : At Heads, s.s, Hawea, from Glasgow. , Sailed : Ladybird, for Northern ports. LYTTELTON. Friday. Arrived : 9.30 a.m., Taranaki, from Wellington. Sailed : 1.5, Taranaki, for the South ; J ohn Knox, for Sydney. The Success, now given up as lost, left Lyttelton on March 27, bound for Wanganui with a cargo of produce. The crew then comprised Captain Lake, John Bothern, Edward Tadstead, John Ode, and Thomas Friday. The Pearl reports having passed a white wreck off Timaru. The wreck was recognised as that of the Success. NAPIER, Friday. Arrived : John Norman, from Glasgow, with plant * for the gasworks. AUCKLAND, Friday. Arrived : Phoebe, from the South. TIMARU, Friday. The Jane Anna, schooner, is in the roadstead. The Pearl, schooner, feared to be lost, returned on Wednesday, and having recovered her anchor, took in a cargo of wheat, and sailed for Auckland the same day. The schooner Success no doubt is lost. The captain of the Pearl reports passing a portion of wreck, painted white. The ketches Janet and Lucy Janies, which left here before the recent galo, have not yet been heard of. The s.s. Ino arrived yesterday afternoon from Motueka, with a cargo of potatoes consigned to Messrs. Turnbull and Co. The Colonial Government steamer Luna sailed last night for Nelson and the West Coast. She took.his Excellency the Governor and suite for Nelson, and a quantity of timber for Cape Foulwind lighthouse. The s.a. Wallabi sailed last evening for Wanganui, with original passengers and cargo from Oamaru, and several transhipments ex Hindostan and Kingdom of Italy. The ketch Falcon cleared out yesterday for Blenheim, but she was unable to sail, owing to the calm which has prevailed for the last three days. The s.s. Stormbird hauled from the breastwork yesterday, and after having called at the hulk, came alongside the Queen’s Wharf. Her official trip will take place to-day. Messrs. Levin and Co. have received intelligence of the arrival of the Union Co.’s steamer Hawea, at Port Chalmers, from Glasgow. She has made a fair run of G 5 days, including four days' detention at St. Vincent and the Cape,
