NEW ZEALAND HEMP REPORT. London - , April 5

Messrs. G. and J. A. Noble state Little lias been doing in this hemp since our last, dated Bth February, and that chiefly in remnants, which again show easier rates.

Talcing Into account the slow sale and easy prices passing in Manila hemp, and undernoted statistics, there is little to induce any speculative demand, however tempting prices may appear. Quotations will be as follows Common, £l3 per ton : fair, £lB per ton ; good, £2O per ton ; fine, £24 per ton ; tow, £0 to £l4.
