A boy who had squirted water on an old lady and thrown her down when she ran after him, was extremely penitent when charged with the offence at the Auckland Police Court the other day. It was deemed to be a case of which the Court must take cognisance, and the boy was committed to a term of one month’s imprisonment. The next offence of this character will be more severely dealt with.
