Sm.—l have noticed in your issue of this morning, a proclamation by his Honor the which says—“ By virtue of tho power? conferred upon him by the 10th section of The Protection of Animals Act, Ipersons may hunt, shoot, or take game within the province of Wellington between the Ist day of June, and 31st day of July, 1875. * s .® e Honor has not made any allusion tithe killing of “native game." The Act under waich the above proclamation is issued, recites that native game may be killed during four months ol tho year. Can you, or any of your numerous readers, inform me whether it is an understood thing the i “ native game may be killed during the four month i of April, May, June, and July, or shall I have to avait another proclamation ? I am, &c., Nimrod. March 20.
