CRICKET.
A match of an interesting nature was played on the Basin Reserve on Saturday afternoon between the Colts and College Clubs, and there was an unusually large number of spectators, including many of the friends of the pupils. The contest resulted in an easy victory for the Colts, by more than double the score of their opponents. Thijwas.the first match that the pupils of the Wellington College have figured in since its opening, and on the whole they acquitted themselves creditably.
