Mr. Wendt, jeweller, of Itundle-street,, s; the Adelaide Observer, has completed a ha.™ tome solid silver crozier, costing £225, for prestation to the Roman Catholic Bishop of -ulelaide. It is six feet long, and the shaft is beautifully chased and ornamented at intervals with massive silver bands. The crook, which is-elaborately chased, has on various parts elegantly-designed representations of the floral emblem of Inland, Scotland, and Ireland. It has also six. niches, ia which st! figures, two and a h'" '—■■ u -- l - : ing 3t. George, St. Ilipps, St. Andrew Abbot. In the curve, there is a three-inch figure of Our Saviour. Just below the crook k an appropriate Latin inscription.
