Sailed : The Government p.s. Luna, at 2.30 p.m., for Maketu with the Native Minister and party. NAPIER, Monday. Sailed : Southern Cross, for Wellington. LYTTELTON, Monday. The Tararua sailed South, and the Albion North, at 5 p.m. Arrived: Antipodes, from Freemantle; Samuel Merritt, from Greymouth; and the Alice, from Bluff Harbor. The steamer Tararua, Captain Clark, arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at C. 45 a.m. yesterday, after a fair passage of eighteen hours and threequarters. The steamer Southern Cross may be expected here this afternoon from Auckland and Napier, having left the latter port for Wellington at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. The steamer Lyttelton, Scott, master, sailed for Blenheim yesterday evening. The steamer Ladybird left Nelson for Picton yesterday afternoon. She may be expected to arrive in Wellington harbor early this morning. The steamer Rangatira, Captain Griffiths, for Castle Point, Napier, and Poverty Bay, with a full general cargo, sailed yesterday afternoon. The American .brigantine Osseo, cleared at the Customs yesterday for Newcastle, N.S.W. The Falcon, for Blenheim, sailed last evening. The sailing of the steamer Manawatu, for Wanganui, has been postponed till this afternoon at five O’clock. The ships Conflict and Euterpe have arrived at San Francisco, the former from Wellington via Newcastle, and the latter from this port direct. The barque Sunbeam, from London for Wellington, was spoken on January 12th in 4G N. 16 W. Freights at London for Wellington are quoted at the following figures;—Rough measurement, 30s. ; fine, 40s. ; liquids, 45a. ; weight, 30s. ; cement, Gs. ; bottled beer. Is. per doz. ; salt, 30s.
