WRITTEN TENDERS will bo received at this office up to NOON on MONDAY, the Ist of FEBRUARY, 1875, for the supply and delivery of 25,000 SLEEPERS for the first twelve miles of the Waitara and Wanganui Railway. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside “ Tender for Sleepers, Waitara to Wanganui.” - Specifications may be seen at this office, and at the Public Works Offices, Foxton and New Plymouth. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any telegraph office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer’s office by the same hour.
