POISONING BY MISTAKE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sm, —With regard to the poisoning case at Masterton, I think this a very good opportunity to-impress upon the public the great importance of their not holding any conversation with a chemist during the time that he may be dispensing. Such is undoubtedly the cause of most of the accidents, for uuless the chemist will hold a tete-a-tete with a customer he u immediately set down as boorish ; they little thinking that, by engaging in conversation with him, they are . endangering their own lives. I would also take this opportunity of impressing upon the New Zealand chemists, the desirability of adopting the Home custom of having on their poison bottles red labels, indicating the power, and also the class of poison contained therein.—l am, &c.
