Barrett's Hotel, LAMBTON-QUAY, WELLINGTON. -

EROE, in returning thanks for the • large amount of patronage he has hitherto been favored with, begs to call the attention of his friends, and the public generally, to the recent additions and improvements he has made to and in the above premises, rendering them for Families and others the most convenient in Wellington, the principal feature of which has been the opening a large handsomely decorated and convenient Ball or Assembly Room, with

adjoining Card and Retiring Rooms. The above are admirably adapted for large or small Dinner Parties, Concerts, Exhibition,

Sale Room, or Public Meetings. The Commercial Room is large and well ventilated, and affords, from its central position (being within a few minutes walk of the Bank, Post-oflfice, Custom House, and all the principal Merchants' Offices), an eligible place for transactions of all business to the Merchant and his country constituents, and is also an evening resort for the Tradesmen of the Town, and where may be heard the news of the day, both Foreign and Domestic ; in fact, combining all the comforts of the Old English Bar Parlour. The Coffee Room is elegantly fitted up, and from its separate position^in the Establishment, is worthy the attention of Committees, or private Parties. The Bed Rooms and Private Sitting Rooms command a splendid and extensive view of the Bay and the surrounding districts, and are most completely and comfortably furnished, and the Proprietor assures all who may favor him with a visit, that no exertion., shall be spared to render this Establishment the most perfect of its

kind in these Southern Colonies. Refreshments can be had at any time, but a Table $H6te. is provided from half-past One to .half-put Two , o'clock, daily, which is liberally supplied. The "Wines, Spipits, Beer, <ke, &c, are

of the best description. E.
