ANNIVERSARY FETE.

AT a Meeting of the Stewards of the "^ proposed Founders' Festival at Pitone, held at the Wellington Hotel, on Monday, sth December, 1853, it was resolved — " That the -Secretary be requested to convene a Public Meeting at the Britannia Saloon, on Thursday, 15th December instant, at 8 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of considering the propriety of celebrating the 14th Anniversary of the Settle* ment at Pitone."
