Auckland Shipping. Arrivals. September 28 — H.M. Schooner Pandora, Commander Drary, from' Wellington. October 21. Schooner Border Maid, Champion, from New Hebrides. Passengers — The Bishop of New Zealand, Rev W. Nihil, Mr. Hector and twenty-four native youths from various South Sea Islands. H. M. Schooner Pandora, Commander Drury, sailed on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 9, for Waiheketo take her water on board, and from thence sails direct for her new field of operations in Mercury Bay, the -whole of which, together with the Bay of Plenty to the East Cape, it is Capt. Drury's intention to suivey before returning to Port in December next. Whilst engaged in surveying these portions of the East Coast a party, in charge of Mr. Oke, assistant master, has been despatched to the West Coast to trace the line of beach from Manukau heads to New Plymouth, the survey of which it is Capt. Drury's intention to commence. — New Zealander, October 13.

Sydney Shipping. Arrival. October 24 — Barque Gwalior, Davidson, from Wellington. The Esther,- belonging to this port, has changed hands, havingbe'en purchased by Capt. M'Gregor, of New Zealand, for the sum of .£625.

English Shipping. The Slums Castle, Andrews, sailed from Gravesend for New Zealand on the 23rd July.

On the I.6th March last, at Marylebone Church, London; Richard Aldwouth Oliver, Commander, R. N. f second son of the late Robert Dudley Oliver, Admiral' of the Red, to Flora, only daughter of the late Lieutenant-Colonel Daniel Hutchins Bellasis.
