Nelson Mining Company. A SPECIAL General Meeting of Share- ^- holders will be held at the Court House, in Nelson, on Thursday, the 11th day of November next, at 7 o'clock in the evening, to consider whether, notwithstanding the number of shares then subscribed for should fall short of that fixed by the original Prospectus, the Company should not at once be constituted ?" Shareholders residing more than five miles distant from the place of meeting, and desirous of voting upon the above question, are requested to forward written proxies, sealed, and addressed to the Chairman of the Meeting, under cover to the Secretary. nnHE Company requires a Mineral Sur- -*■ vey of, and Report upon, their Coal Field at Pakawau in Massacre Bay. The Report must be accompanied by the usual plans and sections of the strata. The extent of the field is eighty English statute acres. A boring apparatus may be obtained in the settlement.
