SANDWICH ISLANDS.
Our files of papers from Honolulu are to the 26th of June. An act of Parliament had received the royal assent prohibiting the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors between the hours of 10 o'clock each Saturday evening, and 5 o'clock each Monday morning. The consumption of spirits during the last two years had averaged 8000 gallons per annum. It was, however, supposed to be diminishing. All land taxes had been abolished by royal proclamation. We do not notice any other items of interest.
