Conditions— In all races, three horses to start, or the nublie money will not be given. 1 There will be a distance post. In all races (except for the Tradesmen’s Purse) mares and geldings allowed 3tb • thoroughbred horses to carry 71bs. extra. ’ All disputes to be settled by the Stewards and their decision to be final. ’ Thirty minutes allowed between heats— At the end of twenty minutes a bell will be niw for saddling, and the start will take place punctually at the half hour. Weights and Scales will be provided. All riders to appear in proper costume—the colours to be stated at the time of entry. All dogs running at large on the course will be destroyed. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any of the races unless he be a subscriber of at least one guinea to the fund. All applications for Booths to be made to Mr Burcham. ’ Notices of matches to be given to the stewards not later than the day previous to the races. The above races will be run subject to the rules of the Wellington Jockey Club. All Entrances to be made to the Treasurer between the hours of 7 and 9 o’clock on Mn s . day evening, the 16th inst., at Taylor’s Commercial Room, Lombard-street.
