CORONER’S INQUEST.
A. Coroner’s Inquest was held on Thursday last at the Thistle Inn, before Dr. Fitzgerald Coroner, on the body of Thomas John Hawkins, second mate of the barque Fr °? tne evidence it: appeared that the deceased was on the long boat of the Emu the previous afternoon (Wednesday) superintending the rigging work forward i 7X T ng back he slipped off the corner of the boat, and fell into the hold on the stone ballast.
