The weather having cleared up harvesting was proceeding with great rapidity, and although there had beeu some injury done to the crops, there was no fear of any scarcity. Parliament was prorogued by the Queen on the sth September, immediately after which her Majesty proceeded to Scotland. The special commission for the trial of OBrien and others for treason was to be opened at Clonmel on the 19th of September.
