Messrs. JAMES SMITH & Co. Will hold a Monthly Sale of Stock, Colonial Produce, and General Merchandize, at Mr. Burcham's, Aglionby Arms, River Hutt, to take place on the first Monday of every Month. Particulars of each Sale will be duly advertized. Wellington, October 6, 1848.

Gaifor, Esq., dam-Fanny by Grey Orwell, a thorough- Bred Horse, Providence \s a Bay Horse, with black points, four years old, stands sixteen hands one inch high, of perfect symmetry, good action, and fine temper. Providence will also stand at Mr. Burcham's, River Hutt,»eyery Tuesday during the Season ; and at Mr. Jolin Wade's, roiirua, every Thursday, and return to his own stables the day following. Terms — Three Guineas, graomage included Payments to be made on or before the Ist day of January, 1 849, to Messrs. Mawby & Higgins. Wellington, October 14th, 1848. -
