SPAIN.
Louis Philippe and his family are expected in Spain, the only doubt beiug as to the time. Their object in coming is considered connected with certain counter-revolutionary plans, in which they will seek to combine with the Spanish government, with a view to their restoration in France. It appears, moreover, that the real object of General Zateo del Velle's mission to Berlin had a similar object. It was pretended that he went to inspect the Prussian fortresses ; but it is believed that he is secretly empowered to" offer the co-opera-tion of Spain to the nortfiera powers in any attempts they may make to restore monarchy in France, provided the said northern powers will recognise Isabella 11. as Queen of Spain. A serious piece of intelligence has arrived from Barcelona, viz., that a liberal movement is fully expected there before long, and that the general belief is, that the troops there cannot be depended upon to act against the people. We have Madrid papers to the 16th inst. The Duke and Duchess of Montpensier had not up to that time arrived in Spain. Apartments are prepareJ for them at the Palace. The law for conferring extraordinary powers upon the government appears in the papers, having received the signature of the Queen. Rumours prevailed of an approaching change of ministers.
