SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

Mr. Pace, jeweller, of Rundle-street, completed on Saturday last a beautiful brooch, ordered by G. W. Thomas; Esq., for his sis-ter-in-law, the lady of Governor Grey. This much" admired specimen of South Australian skill and productiveness consists of a rich piece of malachite from the Burra Burra Mines, set in virgin gold produced from the truly valuable property of the Victoria Mining Company. A windmill was to be built at Port Lincoln, and it was hoped that at length that fated settlement was about to prosper. A Mutual Company has been started in Adelaide.

Adelade Markets, June 9, 1846. — Farm Produce — Wheat ss. 3d. to ss. 9d. per bushel; oats, 4s. to 55. ; Cape barley, 4s. to ss. per bushel ; English barley, 4s. to 4s. 6d. ; pollard, Is. 6d. per 201b. ; bran, Is. 4d. ; fine flour, £16 per ton of 2,000lb. ; seconds ditto, £14; the 2lb. loaf, 3|d. with the prospect of a further advance. — Ship Biscuit, £16 per per ton ; cabin ditto, £18, kilndried. — Butcher's Meat, 3|d. to 4d. per lb., both beef aud mutton; veal,4d^tosd.; corned beef, 4|d.
