GOVERNMENT NOTICE.

TO BUILDERS, STONEMASONS, &c. HHENDERS will be received by the GovernJL ment up to 18th May, for the erection of a Military Barrack of Stone at Paramatta, at the entrance to Porirua Harbour. The Plans and Specifications may be seen at the office of the Architect, Mr. T. H. Fitzgerald, after 11th May, where also all other necessary information relative to the nature of the ground and the best mode of procuring the materials may be obtained. ANY Person or Persons purchasing Cattle or Sheep depasturing on Table Island, or better known by the name of the Island of Mana, in Cook's Strait, New Zealand; likewise cattle and sheep depasturing at Morraki, on the Middle Island ; or the produce from the same ; the principal part of the cattle branded JH : no sales or receipts after this notice will be valid, without my written authority.
