MODE OF DELIVERY.
7th. — No part whatever of the supplies above specified, shall be received in charge of the Commissariat, but shall be delivered by the Contractor d rect to ihe persons entitled thereto, at any place within the limits of the Town, upon the written order of the Commissariat Officer in charge, or of any person authorised by him for that purpose.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sth.-- Each Tender sent in, in consequence of thih Advertisement, to be accompanied by a statement signed by two competent persons, and expressing their readiness, in the event of such Tender being acepted, to become security for the due performance of the Contract, which will then be entered into. The
penalty of the bond to be equal to the estimated amount of two months supplie--, ; and no supplies will be received until the bond has been duly executed. ,9th— Tenders may be sent in, either for the whole of the supplies required or for any •- portion of them, except thot>e under the head of " Hospitals," which must all be in one Tender. 10th. — The Contractor to prepare his own account according to the prescribed form, for the amount of which he will be furnished with a certificate by the Undersigned, and on the pioduction thereof at the Commissaliat office, at Auckland, he shall receive payment monthly, by a Bill upon the Lards Commissioners of her Majesty's Treasury, at par, when the amount is twenty-five pounds or upwards ; when under that amount, payment will be there made cash. 11th. — In the event of any article offered being objected to as not agreeing wirh these condiiions, it will be submitted to a Board of Officers, to be appointed by the Officer commanding the Troops, and if rejected by the Board, it will be replaced by the Commissaliat _i>Jhcer_ aiuL r frargad acaingt _tlie_jC_*.tractor, in thee\entof his neglecting to do so when required. 12th.— It shall be in the power of either party to limit the duration of the contract by giving in writing a notice of three calendar months to the «<ther party. And to end the contract at the expiration of that period, it being understood that such notice can be given only fiom the first.da} of a month, and within the peiiod for which the Contract is made or agreed to be made. 13th — Ea<b Tender to be enclosed in a separate envelope, and marked " Tender for Bread," •' Tender for Meat," &c, as the case may be. No Tender sent in shall be withdiaun or altered, and notice of those accepted shall be gnen within three dajs of the time of
opening. In all cases where persons who have tendered, refuse to fulfil their offeis upon light or <ri\oloua excuse*., it will be competent for the Undeisigned to decline to receive Tenders

WHEREAS a quantity of Building Materials, by the cutter Royal William, were landed at A. Brown's store at Kapiti about 15 months ago. This is to give notice, that -unless the liabilities incurred thereon are forthwith discharged, they will be sold to pay the same. February 14, 1845.
