Post-office, Wellington, Jan. 4, 1845. Mails will close at the above Office as. follows ;—; — For Petre, New Plymouth, Auckland, and Russell, overland, on Monday the 6th inst, at ten o'clock, a. v. For Nelson and Sydney, also for London, Hobart Town, and Adelaide, via Sydney, per Star of China, on Mdnday, at 3 o'clock. For JJuckland, per Lady Leigh, on the 7th instant. For Nelson and Hobart To/wn, per Sifters, on tbe 10th instant. J. Macaeths\ Deputy Acting Postmaster.
