VICTORIA C.C. V. STAR C.C. The annual match between the above clubs was played on the Basin Beserve on Saturday afternoon, and, as will be seen from the subjoined scores, resulted in an easy victory for the Stars by one innings and five runs. The features of the match were the excellent batting and bowling of the two Salmon’s for the Stars, and the batting of Lambert, who was the only Victorian man that could at all stand against the bowling.
