THE CARTERTON BUSH FIRE.

The disastrous effects of the recent bush fire at Carterton is not to be judged by the actual money value of the property destroyed. A statement which has been supplied to us shows that the sufferers are all of the class who form the mainstay of this or any other country—the industrious small farmer class.
