THE HOME GUARD
Sir, —Allow me to draw the attention of thoso in authority to tho urgent necessity of providing suitable training quarters for members of tho Home Guard. Winter will shortly be here, and many of the companies have only parks and paddocks for their training. In such urgency, what is wrong with utilising the floor space of the Town Hall, or some of tho large garages or football shedsl-' Perhaps the Government lias some scheme in view, but urgent decisive action is needed to put the Homo Guard oil a sound footing. fl. MAUXIN.
