As this is the first occasion that the Dargaville Club haß applied for an open tournament, it was decided to recommend that all clubs within the centre give as much support ab possible to the tournament. It wns reported that there is every prospect of ti large number of bowlers from Tnrnnnki, Wniknto, Franklin and Auckland taking part in the centre's annual tournament to bo held 011 dates in February to be arranged.
