WALKER AND DUALA BOUT ENDS IN DRAW [BY TELEGRAI'H PRESS ASSOCIATION | WELLINGTON, Sunday Much showmanship marked the wrestling bout last night between George Walker and Tiger Duala, both of whom in the fifth round fell over the ropes and hit the floor with sufficient force to keep them out of action until the referee announced a drnw. Prior to that Walker gained a fall with a Boston crab and had submitted to one of Duala's novel toelocks. WIN FOR McCREADY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday Earl McCrcady defeated Tony Catalino by one fall before a good attendance last night. The bout provided good entertainment, but it seemed all through that McCready was tho better man and could have gained a fall earlier. His fall was gained _in the eighth round with a flying body scissors. . TOURNEY AT WAIUKU [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] WAIUKU, Sunday Evidence of tho widespread interest in wrestling was shown by tho large attendance at a wrestling tournament arranged by the Waiuku fire brigade. Tho major attraction was an exhibition bout by "Lofty" Blomfield, IGst 71b. and McLean, IGst 101b. EXHIBITION AT WAIKERIA [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Sunday \ novel entertainment was provided for the inmates of the Waikeria Borstal Institute, when a party of Hamilton wrestlers staged a scries of exhibitions. Ihero were four bouts, tho principal ono being between A. Newton and A. "Webb. McCREADY AND CESTOLDI The Italian-American wrestler Angelo Cestoldi will make his first appearance m New Zealand in a match with Earl McCready, which has been arranged by the Auckland Wrestling Association to take place at the Town Hall this evening. Ccbtcldi is said to bo a wrestler of tho fast und vigorous type McCready has had an outstanding run of succenses in his matches in tho Dominion and if pressed ahould give, a fine display of the art of wrestling.
