On MONDAY, Ist JANUARY, 'With the exception of the Te Aro-Napier and Napier-Te Aro Mail Trains (ordinary and extra), the 7 0 a.m. train Masterton to Te Aro, the 3 50 p.m. train Te Aro to Masterton, the 9.40 am. train Woodville to Masterton. and the 3 26 p.m. train Masterton to Woodville, which will run as usual, the ordinary time-table will be suspended. Other trains, stopping, if required, at all stations, will run as under : — UP. FOR WOODVILLE —Cross Creek dep 8.5 a.m., 2.50, 5.15 p.m., Masterton 6 50, 10.6 a.m., 6.30, 7.30 p m. The UP Mail Trains (Te Aro dep. 8.5 and 8.51 a m.) WILL NOT TAKE PASSENGERS TO UPPER HUTT. The DOWN Mail Trains (Upper Hutt dep. 5.28 and 6.21 p.m.) WILL NOT TAKE PASSENGERS FROM UPPER HUTT.

ON 2nd JANUARY, A Special Passenger Train, stopping, if required, at all stations, will leave Featherston at 6.25 p.m., Upper Hutt 8.57, Lower Hutt 9.40, Wellington arr. 10.11, Te Aro arr. 10.23 p.m. The usual 5.30 p.m. train Masterton to Wellington will leave Masterton 6.0 p.m., Carterton 6.30, Greytown 6.40, Featherston 7.22, Upper Hutt 9.45, Lower Hutt 10.23, Wellington arr. 10.57 p.m. No goods traffic on Ist January. Tickets for use on Ist January may be obtained on 30th December at Te Aro and Wellington between the hours of 9.0 a.m. and 6.0 p.m. The Railway Recreation Grounds at Upper Hutt will he oppn to the General Public on Ist January.
