npENDEES will be received at the Office of I the undersigned until 4 p.m. on THUKSDAY, the 22nd day of September, 1904, for the Right to Advertise on the Backs of Tram Tickets in use on the Wellington Electnc Trams, for alternative periods of one, two, or three years. Tenderers to submit the class of advertisements intended, and all advertisements of accepted tenderers to be subject to the approval of the Council. The punting of the advertisements to be at the cost of the successful tenderer. The attention of advertisers is called to the excellent opportunity offered them in this connection, the present sale of tickets ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 per day, and with good prospects when the tram system is completed of rising to 40,000 oi 50,000 per day.
