WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. IRON OR STEEL STRUCTURES BYLAW, 1904. NOTICE is hereby given that the following Resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the City Council of Wellington held on Thuisday, 24th March, 1904, viz. : — RESOLUTION. The Council of the City of Wellington doth hereby make (by Special Order) the following By-law under the provisions of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and in pursuance of all other powers, if any, enabling the said Council in that behalf to amend " The Consolidated By-law, 1898." The above Resolution will be submitted for confiimation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 21st day of April, 1904, at 7 30 p.m , at the Council Chambers, Brandon Street, Wellington, when the date on which the said By-law will come into force will be fixed. The object and purport of the proposed By-law aie : — To regulate the erection of Buildings the external walls of which are constructed of iron and steel. The Council of the City of Wellington doth hereby make (by Special Order) the following By law under the provisions of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and in pursuance of all other powers, if any, enabling the said Council in that behalf to amend " The Consolidated By-law, 1898." In pursuance of the powers given to the Council by " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," "The Wellington Botanic Gardens Vesting Act, 1891," and " The Thorndon Esplanade Act, 1891," and of all other powers enabling the Council in that behalf, the Council of the City of Wellington doth hereby make (by way of Special Order) the underwritten By-law to regulate the use of the Parks and Reserves of the City of Wellington. The above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 21st day of APRIL, 1904, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Brandon Street, Wellington, when the date on which the said By-law will come into force will be fixed.
