PARTICULARS OF THE BATHS. The Hot Sorings of Rotorua are beneficial in a veiy large number of cases of Chronic and Subfcute Diseases ; more especially in cases of Chronic Rheumatism and in Convalesce torn Acute Rheumatism, in Gout, in Rheumatoid Anthntis, and in such loca mSSatODS as Sciatica and Lumbago, in Peripheral Neuritis, Neuralgia, and manySr nervous diseases when not of central origin ; in Neurasthenia and m certain oases of Hvstena, and in certain Utenne complaints ; in many diseases due to tailuie of excretory oigans such as the Liver or Kidneys, and in many skin diseases. THE PRIEST'S BATH.— This is an immeision bath; the wafer is of a stioncly acid and aluminous sulphur natuie, acting as a poweiful stimulant to the skm relieving pain and stiffness, and stimulating the circulation. Hot douches and cold showers are piovided for use after the bath. THE PUBLIC RACHEL BATHS, supplied by the Eachel Spiing, aie immersion baths like the Priest, but the water is of a bland, alkaline nature, and distinctly sedative in its effects. THE PRIVATE RACHEL BATHS are also supplied by the Eachel 9th ma In addition to puvacy, there is the advantage of obtaining a bath at any desued temparatuie. THE SULPHUR VAPOUR BATH.— This is a natural hot vapour, highly charged with Sulphui gases, conducted into a ptopeily constiucted box, in which the patient sits while Sulphui in an impalpable form is being constantly deposited on the skin.
