WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN. In the mattei of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900. THE Council of the City of Wellington hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to borrow (by way of Special Loan within the meaning of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900), the sum of Forty Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds, to be expended in the purchase of the land foiming the catchment area of the Karori Water Supply, and in the alteration, improvement, and extension of the reticula-' tion of water mains within the City of Wellington. The Council pioposes to pledge a Special Rate of seven thirty-seconds of a penny in the pound (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) on all rateable property within the City of Wellington as security for the said Loan of Forty Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds and the Interest and Sinking Fund thereon. It is proposed that the whole amount shall be repayable at the expiration of a term of thirty years computed. from first day of October, 1902. Dated this 23rd day of June, 1902. J. E.
