Secretary W.R.F.U. WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN. In the mattei of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900. THE Council of the City of Wellington heieby gives public notice that such Council piopose3 to borrow (by way of Special Loan within the meaning of the Municipal Corpoiations Act, 1900) the sum of Foity-two Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds, to be expended on the Constiuction of a new Stoiage Reseivoii at the Wateiworks at Wainui-o-mata. and in the Coustiuction of a Mam between such dam, and the pipe leading out of the present dam, and in the Construction of a Second oi Alternative Main between the well at Wainui-o-mata and the Post Office there. This latter main is to be provided foi the purpose of avoiding the present risk to the City Supply by reason of two nvei ciossings. The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate of seven thirty-seconds of a penny in the pound (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) on all ratable pioperty within the City of Wellington as security for the said Loan of Forty-two Thonsand Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds and the Interest and Sinking Fund theieon. It is pioposed that the whole amount of the Loan shall be repayable at the exphation of a term of thirty years computed fiom the first day of October, 1902. Dated this 23rd day of June, 1902. J. E.
