Mr W. MoKeazic is piogrossmg ta\ourably in his quest after good health at Rotorua. A touch of influenza militated somewhat against the improvement sought for, but, in a fortnight's time, when he returns home, as he expresses it himself, "a four-railed fence will no more impede my locomotion than a common wax vesta.'' So mote- it be The caps presented by the New Zealand Rugby Union to the team that lepresented the colony against New South Wales last football season, have been distributed. They are excellent souvenirs, and will, no doubt, be greatly prized by the recipients. The ordei fui making the caps was entrusted to Messrs Wallace and Gibson, the popular hatters and outfitters, of Wilhsstreet. and tho manner in which it lias been filled reflects the greatest credit on them.
