Swimming.

The swimming season was opened at tlie Thoiudon Batlis on Saturday last, in the presence of a fairly large crowd or spectators Sir Robert Stout, after speaking for some time on the great ad\antagesof swimming as aji exercise and <i means of sawng life, wished the various clubs a successful year, and formally dedaied the season opened.
