SHOOTING SEASON.
THIS year is a CLOSE SEASON for Native Pigeons, Pukeku, and Kaka. THE SEASON for shooting other Native Game and Imported Game in the Wellington District will open on Ist May, and close on 31st July. A. E. LOWE, Honorary Secretary, Wellington Acclimatisation Society. 23rd March, 1901.
NOTICE TO MAKE RETURNS OF LAND UNDER "THE LAND AND INCOME ASSESSMENT ACT, 1900." Land and Income Tax Department, Wellington, 28th March, 1901. NO TICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the above Act and the regulations made thereunder, every peison and company being the owner of land in New Zealand, oi being the holder or owner of any mortgage or mortgages of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the said Act, is hereby required to duly make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such land and mortgages as at 12 o'clock noon on the 3lBt day of March instant. And, fuither, notice is hereby given that such returns shall in all cases be delivered at, or forwarded to, the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, in the Government Buildings, at Wellington, on or before the Ist day of May, 1901. Gentlemen's Buttonholes — Three Best Buttonholes, any flowers and foliage, to be arranged on cardboard.
