MELROSE BOROUGH COUNCIL. TAKING OVER PRIVATE STREETS. NOTICE is hereby given that the following Resolutions were passed by way of Special Order at a special meeting of the Melrose Borough Council, held at the Borough Council Offices at 6 p.m. on the 25th day of March, 1901, namely— 1. That the Council do hereby declare all that portion of the private street known as Crawfordroad, lying within the Borough of Melrose, to be a public street, and that this resolution shall be confirmed as a special order at a subsequent meeting of this Council, to be held on the 22nd day of April, 1901. 2. That the Council do hereby declare a private street situate within the Borough of Melrose, and extending from the distributing basin of the city waterworks at Mitchelltown to the eastern boundary of Section 1, Upper Kaiwarra District, to be a public street, and that this resolution shall be confirmed as a special order at a subsequent meeting of this Council, to be held on the 22nd day of April, 1901. Notice is hereby further given that the said resolutions will be submitted for confirmation as special orders at a special meeting of the Council, to be held at the Borough Council Offices, 8, Colonial Mutual Buildings, Wellington, on MONDAY, the 22nd day of April, 1901, at 6 p.m. W.
