FARMING AND GARDENINO. Vegetables.—Get in all the ordinary spring crops, if the main crop of onions was not sown last month, it should not be delayed after the beginning of tlik The main crop of potatoes should be in by the end of this month. Plant Jerusalem artichokes. Plant out celery. Sow French beans and scarlet runners at the etui of the month; also cucumbers, vegetable marrows and pumpkins, in warm situations. Attend to growing crops. Fruit.—Graft fruit trees. Disbud the vine. Rock and water melons may be sown in warm and sheltered spots nt the end of the month. FLOWERS.—Sow seeds of all kinds of annuals. Piopogate petunias by cuttings, and fuchias propagated by cuttings now will make fine flowering plants by December. Propagate the pansy by cuttings for autumn (lowering; young plants produce the largest aud finest (lowers. As little delay as possible should be permitted in all planting operations now, as the vigour and strength of plants wil! be materially checked, and their beauty injured by being moved when vegetation is much advanced. 1.1.'t everything be now done which has been left undone.
