There has been an unusual degree of activity at the several Auction Marts, as will be seen by the subjoined abstracts of sales. On Friday, Mr. George Sibbin offered for sale fifty allotments in the township of Wynyardton, Coromandel. The attendance was small and the bidding exceedingly dull, only one lot being knocked down to Mr. Moore for the sura of i’s, the remainder were withdrawn. One lot in Bajrack street was knocked down to Mr. Lee, lor £‘3 10s. per foot. On Tuesday last Mr. S. Jones held an extensive sale of goods comprising Oilmen’s Stores, Groceries, Ace., ex “ Blundell,” at his Mart, Brunswick Buildings.
