The barque which we noticed in our last as having proceeded up the Taoiaki, proved to be the Glensliee, Captain Buick, six days from Wellington, bringing a cargo of catile for this market; the lost twenty-six head on the passage up. The brig Reliance, (.'apt. Itiddle, proceeded down harbour on Thursday morning for the purpose of shipping a cargo of timber at Maraiti for Melbourne.
The schooner Abeona, Captain Fairchild, arrived in the Manukau at a late hour on Wednesday night from Taranaki. The Abeona brought up the news of the wreck of the B,s. Lord Woriley, Capt, Bowden, bound to Manukau, full particulars of which will be found in another column. The Abeona brought up the Lord Worsley's mail*. The schooners Sylph and Dunedin took their departure for Otago yesterday evening, both taking a full complement of cargo and passenger*-. The schooner Zephyr, Captain Lowrie, arrived at Otago on the 'Jlst ultimo.
The schooner Sea Gull, Captain Champion, had arrived at Taranaki from Sydney on the 2Ut ultimo, after a passage of thirteen days, and sailed agair, for that port oh the 2(iih. The brig Sporting Lass, Captain Muirhead, had arrived at Plctori from Sydney on the 2nth ultimo. We perceive in the Wellington Independent oi the 2flth ulto., that the schooner Salcombe Castle, Captain James, had nearly completed her repairs, and would commence loading wiih cattle from Wanganul for the Manukau on the i.*lih August. She may therefore be soon looked for.
