The brig Reliance, Captain Riddle, arrived in harbour from Hobart Town on Wednesday night at 10 o'clock, after a fine weather passage of ten days. Sighted the North Cape on the Ist instant and made a good run of two days up the coast. On Monday last the Reliance sighted a steamer, in all probability the Lord Ashley, bound for Sydney, The Reliance brings a general cargo and some forty passengers. The American schooner Lombard, Captain Harding, look her departure for Otagr, with a stiff breeze from S.W., on l'hui - day last at 2 p.m. The schooner Kauri, Captain Shearer, arrived from Lyttle. ton, on Thursday morning, after a passage of twelve day-.
The schooner Sea-Gull, (.'apt. Cellem, arrived from Otago, on Thursday las', afier a passage of ten days. The Sea 'Jull since working up the coast.
