PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. I By Daniel Pollen, Esquire, Deputy of the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland. URSUANT to the powers vested in me '. . by the second clause of the " Highways ■' ct, 1862," I do hereby declare that the mds comprised within the several boundaries ereundor described shall be a district under • le said Act, and that such district shall be nown by the name thereto prefixed, that is j d say,— The District of Taaiaki West:— U those lands commencing at a point on the • 'amaki River, in the centre of the road diich forms the Southern boundary of lot Jo. 41 of the parish of Waitemata ; thence , long the centre of that road to the centre of nother road which forms the Western bounary of lots Nos. 40 and 41 of said parish ; hence along the centre of the road which brms part of the Southern boundary of lot 14 of said parish ; thence along the Southern )onndary of said lot 44 to the centre of the Scoria Reserve Road ; thence in a straight ine through lot No. 50 of said parish to the North Western angle of the Mount Wellington Reserve ; thence along the Western boundary )f said Reserve to the Southern angle of lot 50 aforesaid ; thence along the Southern ooundaries of lots Nos. 49 and 50 to the centre sf the College road ; thence along the centre of that road to the South Eastern angle of Lot No. 26a of said parish ; thence along the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 26a and 12a of said parish to the South Western angle of lot No. 12a aforesaid; thence along the Western boundary of said lot No. 12a to the centre of the Tamaki road ; thence along the centre of said road to the Western boundary of lot No. 38a of said parish ; thence along the Western boundaries of lots No. 38a and 40a to the Waitemata Harbour ; and thence along high water mark ordinary tides to the starting point on the Tamaki River, including all roads traversing the lands within the beforementioned boundaries. THEREBY notify for general information, that a Memorial, signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the district of Tamaki West as is required by the " Highways Act, 1862," praying that the operation of the said Act may,be extended to the said district, has been received by me: And I do hereby declare that the " High„„.a xict, iOOi, snail neiiutuoilii uc in tun operation within the said district of Tamaki West.
