Commercial Record.
NewZkax.andku OiTico, Auckland, September 22m1, 1 Hoi. There is nothing note-worthy in the Commercial \vbilcl, since onr Inst. We have been without arrivals ; and with a Market fully stocked,, trade is dull, and dependent upon advices from without. The Market for Flour and Dread stuffs continues in the same degree of incertitude. Quotations arc nominal ; and an advance or decline depends entirely upon the intilligence which the Sydney steamer may convey. The arrivals coastwise, during the week, have been* limited to -100 bushels of wheat, and 5 ,1 0 bushels of ma ze. Of wheat there is a considerable supply on baud. Maize is rather plentiful and on the decline. Postscript. The general tenor of the Sydney Commercial Reports, from the Ist to the 14th of the present month, is of an embarrassing character. Markets are dull ; and business fluctuating and uncertain. The Warehouses are overstocked ; and, both at Sydney and Melbourne, several failures have occurred. Under these circumstances, speculations aro becoming rare, and cautiously undertaken.
