Ist.—For completing the line of Road from Epsom to Mr. Kelly’s bouse, and thence to the Beach at Onehunga, by way of Mr. Norman’s; and also, for the line of Koad from Beattie's corner by way of Queen-street to the said Beach. 2nd.--The Great South Road to be improved from its junction with the Epsom Road to the Tamaki Bridge. 3rd.—The Road leading from the Great South Road to the Panmurc Ferry through the Scoriae, to be made passable for carls. 4th. —That portion of the College Road on the Auckland side of St. John’s College to be metalled, r sth. —The Ilowick Road frOm the Punt to Ilowick, to be made passable for carts. M. 58 th Regiment, at Auckland, will be received at ibis Office, until noon of Thursday, the 241h instant, viz.: The quantities likely to be required may be ascertained from the Quarter-master, 58lh Regiment. The Supplies will have to be delivered at Albert Barracks daily, at the same hours as the rations of bread and meat are delivered. Each Tender must comprise all the articles required. Tenders for portions thereof not being eligible for acceptance. The supplies to be of the best quality and description, and to be subject to the approval of a Board of Officers appointed by the Officer in command of the Regiment. The contract to last for three months, commencing on the Ist proximo, unless previously terminated by a month’s notice given for that purpose in writing by either party. The person taking the Contract must be prepared to give ample security for its proper fulfilment. Payment for the supplies furnished will be made weekly by the Regiment. Fred.
