LENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday, the 26th instant, from persons willing to undertake the performance of the following Services, at the Hired Barracks, Whapaiu Bay of Islands, for one year, from IFt October, 4855, to 50th September, 1854, viz.:— Washing and Repairing Soldiers' and Hospital Bedding. Persons whose lenders maty be accepted will be required to give reasonable security for the due performance of their engagements. Every particular relative to these services mav be obtained on application at the Bar-rack-Master's Offices, Auckland, and the Whapau, where also forms of tender can be seen. Wm. Anniversary Services of the New Zealand District Auxiliary to the Wesieyan Missionary Society will be held on Sunday and Monday next, the 18th and 49th of September. On Sunday next Two Sermons will be preached in the Auckland Wesieyan Chapel, —that in the morning, (at the 14 o'clock service) by the Rev. Robert Yodng, of London, a Deputation from the British Conference; that in the evening, at 6 o'clock, by the Rev. W. B. Boyck, of Svdney, General Superintendent of the Wesieyan Missions in Australia. The Annual Public Meeting will be held on Monday evening next at half-past six o'clock, when the above named Ministers, with several Missionaries, are expected to take part in the proceedings. Collections will be made at the several Services in aid of the Funds of the Society. Sept. 13, 1853. NOTICE. INDEPENDENT CHURCn, under A the pastorate of the Rev. T.
