To Correspondents.
“ Ellerslie” has not complied with our invariable rule of requiring the names of our correspondents, and therefore—even if his letter were in other respects unobjectionable—we could not give it insertion. The case seems to bo one of groat hardship to tho innkeeper, and, if redress cannot otherwise be obtained, if a temperate and properly authenticated statement of the transaction he forwarded to us, we may —considering its public bearings—have no objection to give it insertion.
