The Cresswell sails this day for New Plymouth, having discharged her English cargo here with a rapidity (notwithstanding the prevalence of very unfavourable weather), and altogether in a satisfactory manner, which has called forth general commendation, and is highly creditable to Captain Williams and all concerned. The vessel's stay at New Plymouth is expected to be very short, and she will return here direct to load for London. As she will ship a considerable part of the cargo of the William Hyde she is not likely to be delayed long on her return to this poit, and her sailing will afford a desirable opportunity of forwarding to England letters, or such freight as she may still have room for.
