Commissariat, Auckland, 19th March, 1852. . HHENDERS, in duplicate, will be received at -L this Office, until noon of Thursday next, the 25th instant, from persons willing to contract to supply the 58th Regiment, at Auckland, with the following Articles, viz.: — Tea— Sugar— Coffee Milk — Pepper — Salt Potatoes — Green Vegetables Flour — and Barley. The quantities likely to be required may be ascertained from the" Quarter-Master, 58th Regiment. The supplies will have to be delivered at Albert Barracks daily, at the same hours as the Rations of Bread and Meat are delivered. Each Tender must comprise the whole of the abovementioned Articles. Tenders for portions thereof not being eligible for acceptance. The quality of the supplies to be of the best description, and to be subject to the approval of a Board of Officers appointed by the Officer in command of the Regiment. The Contract to last for three months, commencing on the Ist of April, 1852, unless previously terminated by a month's notice given for that purpose in writing by either party. The Contractor will be required to give security for the due performance of his engagement. Payment for the supplies furnished will be made weekly by the 58th Regiment.
