THE SELLING STAKES. Twenty Sovereigns, added to a Sweepstakes of One Pound each. Three years old, 8 st. 6 IbB. Four years old 9 st. 10 lbs. Six years and aged, II st. 6 lbs. The ■winner to be sold for Fifty Sovereigns; if for Forty Sovereigns, allowed 5 lbs. ; SO, 8 lbs.; 20, 12 lbs.; 15,20 lbs.; 10, 28 lbs. Once round. — Heats — The winner to be sold immediately after the Race— the surplus, if any, to go to the Race Eund, CONSOLATION STAKES. Twenty Sovereigns, for the beaten Horses of the week, to be entered and handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, immediately after the last heat for the Selling Plate. — Twice round. Single event. N.B.— Entrance Money 10 per cent, on amount given. Horses to start for the First Race, each day, at 1 o'clock precisely. The Bell for Saddling and coming to the Post, will be rung at | past 12, and 5 minutes before 1 o'clock each day. The Racing will be conducted in strict accordance with the existing Rules of the "New Ulster Jockey Club;" and all fines and penalties on Trainers and Riders will be strictly enforced. Horses to be entered with Mr. Hardington, at the " Royal Exchange Hotel," on or before Monday, 29th December, at 8 o'clock, p.m. j when all Entries will be finally closed, except for the Hack Race and the Consolation Stakes The Members of the Club will dine together in the " Royal Exchange Hotel," on Tuesday, the 30th December, when each Member will have the privilege of introducing a friend. — Dinner on the Table at 8 o'clock precisely.
